The first in our chain of spoons restaurants, with the usual spoons experience, decent food, decent drinks and a relaxed vibe.
Overall, the food, drinks and atmosphere were nice, with a few little hiccups but it is a spoons which isn’t perfect. We came for breakfast, so it was very relaxed and quiet.
The service was quick and wait times were limited, with only 20 minutes between ordering and food being at the table. The drinks were brought to the table within minutes of ordering. Coffee machines had everything in stock and there was no issues with what we wanted.
With our limited interactions with the staff, due to ordering on the app, they seemed very pleasant and helpful.
The decor is typical spoons, imitating a classical pub, with local history on the walls. The lighting is dim, but there are lots of big windows that let in natural light.

I ordered a large breakfast with a cappuccino and I could hardly fault it. The only issue being the eggs were a little gummy, but at £7.96 (with 2 extra hashbrowns) I can’t complain. Good coffee, pub food and decent vibes makes this a decent place to eat!

I ordered the breakfast muffin with a hash brown on the side and a drink was included with a total price of £4.04. A price that can’t really be beaten anywhere else. The food was good, the only issue being my egg was a little cold, but everything else was great. Plus, unlimited tea and coffee refills is a bonus.
